Just a quick PSA to any new users coming here from SparkPeople. Normally I only use the FS app but I happened to log onto the website earlier and noticed someone has already started a new group there for former Spark(ers?). I have no idea how the features compare but I hope you will all be happy here.

I am a former sparker. I haven't joined any groups yet, but I have joined a challenge that another former sparker is leading. I also created a facebook group for some of my intermittant fasting friends from spark. I for one LOVE fatsecret. I actually like the food and exercise trackers better than I liked the ones in spark. I will look for the group for former sparkers. I like smaller groups so I don't feel so overwhelmed.

Hello Nancy, and welcome! I’ve only been here since February myself and haven’t used any other trackers or apps. But FS has everything I need and everyone here is very helpful and supportive. I just wish I had started sooner. Good luck to you!

Oh, and there are lots of people here doing some form of IF. I’m just trying not to eat after 7 p.m. if possible and I think it’s helping.

Thank you, I looked at some of the IF groups. With my Facebook group I want to make sure I manage my time. So far I am comfortable with just my group and the group atmosphere of the challenge. I am past 24 hours into my 4th 72 hour fast. I am working up to do a 4 day fast. I downloaded a fasting app for my next fast.
