I feel hungry. I think this is the most frustrating part about getting used to IF. You want to eat during your fasting hours, but know that will throw off your whole schedule. Then, if you give in to that "hunger" after you've eaten you realize, that food wasn't even worth it. I think this picture sums it up....

I have a will power problem with IF. I can't stay through a whole day without eating something. Maybe if I did it more often I'd get better at it.

Do you eat at all on your fast? I started with a water fast on IF, but then I heard you can consume up to 500 calories of high fat on the fast and you drop weight. So I have been doing that. I've dropped over 22 lbs with IF and Fat Fasts. I love it. I do a Fat fast once a month. I did two last month. I IF every other day. How long have you IF? How much weight have you lost with it, is it a water fast?

When I first start, I have to constantly remind myself, start eating at X time. You will be fine until then. It is okay to feel hungry now. That's normal. Once I get a few days under my belt, I'm okay. Then I am sailing.

No typically when on my fast I just do water. Or some drink sweetened with liquid Stevia. Right now I'm kind of still easing back into it. I just restarted IF yesterday, so today I had some coffee with coconut oil and maple syrup. I'm going to pull back on the maple syrup as I go until I am just mainly using stevia or only drinking water. I also try to time my fasts to where I'm not so focussed on food. I seem to do better having a late eating window (i.e. 6pm-11pm or so). When I eat earlier in the day, I tend to not stop. lol

I drink too "fat" coffee w/ coconut oil and heavy whipping cream. Sometimes I add unsalted butter to it. And sugar free coffee flavoring for sweetener. I've been kinda spoiled with eating up to 500 high fat on my fasting days.. I wonder if I will do better going back to water...?? Wish there did studies on it, that would help.
