My first week back to work since my husband passed went by mostly smoothly. I havent' figured out the weight game in a month but will continue it again in about another week. Been bouncing around 3 pounds going on and off ... yo-yo effect on the scales.
Starting to get back into the routine with my Veteran Group activities. Taking Panama Jack (little dog) to the Veterans nursing home today then a memorial for a friend who's father passed later this afternoon.
One Day At A Time is all I can do for now. Thank you to all my FatSecret friends for the motivation and support, you have no idea how much it meant to me. Specially the smiles!

Have been keeping you in my thoughts and prayers :) I am sure one day at a time is more than enough right now. In time it (your weight) will come back to being a focus...but I think it's great that in the meantime it's just hovering. I always wanted to take my dog to the nursing home...I think he would be great w/ the elderly. He is so intuitive w/ my mom and my father-in-law (who has also had a stroke)...he just KNOWS that they have issues...and he's great w/ them. Have a great weekend Mouse! Love.
