first day of 500 calorie day. feel a little weak. but ok

500 calories isn’t really enough unless it’s part of an intermittent fasting plan. Just reduce calories to 70% of your RDI (recommended daily intake). That’s around 1200-1500 calories per day for most people. You will lose weight safely at this level - steer clear of calorie dense foods and eat more veggies and salads and it will be easier.

Do please keep in mind if you take such aggressive approach. It might have a long term damage.

No I'm actually doing the 5:2 intermittent fasting. Working quite well for me. Only 2 days per week on 500cal. It's helping me get back on track after putting on so much weight throughout the lockdowns. The other 5 days are normal but cutting down on carbs and sugar etc. Thanks everyone.

I didn't even realise my journal becomes public hahaha. I was putting the journal in for my own reference to see how I'm feeling over time hahaha
