Yay I lost 3.2 pounds since last week! It is the jolt I need to motivate me to reach my goal and stay on track! I've been doing really good at the gym lately...running for 30 minutes to an hour 3 times a week. I want to incorporate weights more so I get that boost in the metabolism. I wasn't perfect at keeping track of points last week and that was because I had some bad days and didn't want to write it down. But the leader at the meeting said today if you 'bite it, write it...every bite, lick, taste." It atleast holds me accountable to myself and I will be less tempted to indulge knowing I have to track it.

I'm excited that I am starting this journey now before the warm weather comes and the clothing is a lot less forgiving. Here's to looking hot in a bikini this summer!

I just changed my profile pic to give me motivation of what I want to look like again...that was me at about 140 pounds... I know I can get back there!

Definitely get the weights going. I have found that despite riding my bike a lot that when I get back to lifting I feel just great. In addition to the metabolism boost there is nothing like the feeling of the muscles getting stronger. BTW: I too have done the 30+ pounds in a little under 3 months, so don't be discouraged.
