I'm not hungry right now, just moody and frazzled. I have to keep reminding myself of that so that I don't blow it again. :/
I tried recording lunch as best as possible. It was a birthday/ anniversary celebration with my inlaws at a really awesome, fancy French restaurant. Yeah, French cuisine tends to use a good amount of butter and cream so I overdid my calorie budget. Though that meal had me set for the rest of the evening and it was sssssooooooo good! I know I won't be eating like that all the time, so I am trying not to feel guilty about it.
(Part of me is afraid that I might start using that rationalization too frequently and permitting myself too many 'cheat days' and thereby sabotaging my diet.) I haven't been able to get as much exercise in the past week or so as I did the previous weeks, so I don't know if I am going to be losing ground. Also, I don't know if my IBS is getting worse. I have been trying to counteract it by working on drinking more water. Several days last week I didn't do very well with that, but as symptoms have not really improved I am getting more concerned about causing harm to my system if I don't offset the dehydration I am susceptible to. So, I think I was able to drink about a half gallon of water yesterday. Just have to wait and see how things go. As for the calories I will have to just try again (later) today to reign things in again.
