I am trying to find any ways that I can to get exercise. I have two ten minute breaks during my work day, and I have decided that I will use the breaks to hit the heavy bag and get in some reps with the weights. I know that it is not a lot, but every little bit helps.
Hitting that heavy bag for one minute straight about killed me. People do not realize how much energy it actually takes to move that thing around. There is a reason that amature boxing rounds are only three minutes long.
When I got back to my desk I thought I was going to cough up a lung. I have not done any exercise for a month, and I know this is all a part of getting back into it.
2009 is the year that I will finally reach my weight goal!
