Getting ready for winter.
I had tons of wood. Anytime a friend does not need wood or the municipality is clearing parts of the wooded area for new roads, I end up with piles of wood. All sizes from twigs to 3 inches in diameter. Spent a couple of hours sorting them out this afternoon in hopes of spending next Saturday chopping wood and stacking them up in the garage. 2 fireplaces will burn a lot of wood, a delightful time in the winter. I hope it snows like last year when the snow blizzard was so strong it was snowing on the shores of the Mediterranean sea ( a rare event that happens about twice per century). Our home is on the mountain overlooking the sea. At an altitude of 600m (1,800 ft) we get a day or two of snow per winter season.

Nice workout for late Saturday afternoon.
