Dont fret! It's either water weight or you may be underestimating your portions, the latter wont happen if you have a kitchen scale.

Going for a brisk walk before dinner time is always great. Not only do you get the benefits of exercise but you also feel thirsty before dinner and drink a bit of water and then that means you feel full faster when you have your meal 😊
I downloaded Google fit on my phone and started walking to get my 150 heart points a week and it's really helped with progress (I am the type who gains weight just by looking at a cake 😂)

Stick with it and maybe see if your calorie deficit is enough and maybe increase your exercise just check out your diet a bit closer

maybe lower your daily calorie allowance. I was in the same place until I worked out what my Basel rate should be instead of assuming it was the standard 2500 a day for men. Also I feel running is great and the weight has been coming off since I've started going for 10k runs every other day, although I know the idea isnt that appealing to everyone.

if running is out of the picture an hour long walk is good as well

It’s you body adjusting, that’s all 😊 this dieting malarkey is a long slow marathon and the scales can make you feel great one day and the next day for no apparent reason they can put us in a defeatist mood. Rely on your food calculator for every morsel of food and log everything, even water, and you will see the results - weighing every day will keep track of your weight but you have to take the good with the bad. My longest plateau was over 8 weeks - no loss but overall no major gain - my body adjusted and I started losing again, slowly. I’ve been recommended the Fast800 for quick weight loss but personally I’m not ready for that extreme but if you’re anxious for results you might want to read up on it.
Good luck to you going forward 👍😊

hi blackfaery, you said you don't drink( I know you mean alcohol) but you must drink a lot of water. snacks be careful because some people think snack and it could be as big as a meal. so please be careful. Try eating meals on a side plate not big plate and it will sound daft but chew slowly your stomach gets full quicker because your brain thinks I'm sick of this slow chewing so it's mind over matter your tummy will fill up quicker and you will eat much less. Good luck blackfaery. from merrymel

When I got stuck recently I tried fasting between 6pm-12pm for a week - it really worked! I couldn’t do it long term (I’d really miss breakfast) but the change was great 😊

I'm in the same boat, nearly 5 weeks and no real progress. I'm fighting hormones and I work nightshifts which make things a bit more challenging. Don't give up though I'm of the mindset that it's a long term lifestyle change so perseverance has to be a major ingredient. You'll get there 😉 xx

I agree. It is very frustrating when the scales misbehave and you know you're doing all the right things. I agree with the commentators who suggest switching your diet up in some way to see if it makes a difference. In the past I have used a low carb plan for a few days to shift any lingering "water weight" and force my body back into losing mode. The most important thing of all though is to keep going. Good luck.
