It is official! I have lost over 40 pounds (I was 215 before FS)! Even though I am STILL in the 170s, I have 20 more pounds to go. Back in May I knew I needed to drop 60 LBS. It sounded like so much weight and forever to lose it. Well, it didn’t take long at all to drop 40lbs. Now I have my mind set on lpsing 20 pounds, and it sounds so much better than 60lbs!

Some people are so rude and flat out crazy! Once again my husband’s family members had ugly things to say. This time it was “Dionne, you are losing so much weight, don’t lose anymore because people are going to think you’re sick or something!” I think I will just stay away from rude and negative people for awhile. Hmmm

I am still wearing a size 14 (getting a little big), and 12s (pants) are a little tight. I can’t wait to fit into a size 8. I don’t even remember being an 8. I think I have always wore a size 12 or 14.

that is so awesome!!!.. girl forget everybody around u.. this is about u.. i remember in the beginning u mentioned comments about ur weight.. now u lose it and they still have somethign to say??? whatever... u do u girl and i bet u look fabulous!.. size 8 is my goal too... i'm 10/12 right now... and i was as big as 20/22!... so proud of u!

I am 5'6", was weighing 215 and I fit into a 16/18. I was squeezing into a 14, I guess that's why I feel like I have been in a 14 forever.

have u tried a 12? whenever i look for clothes i ALWAYS try on my "size" and the next one smaller unless i know for sure the style fits small. that's how i knew i fit into a 10. now half my pants are tens and a couple jeans. i'm 5'3... i was in a 14 once i got down to about 195, 12 at around 185.. i think...lol.. my body changes so much depending on if i'm working out more.. b/c i could weigh more but still be smaller than i look...

Congratulations on your weight lose success! I am already hearing the don't lose much more or you'll look sick. Hello...I am following my doctor's advise and I am still considered obese! Some people never learned from BAMBI that if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all! Don't let the thoughtless clods get you down!

Thanks Pugcrazy! @ Naiomy, JcPenney's has a huge sale this weekend....maybe I will try on a size 12 while I am shopping for my little ones.

Like you, I used to weigh 215 prior to joining FS...and now people are telling me I'm too skinny. I think this is because a) they're upset they are not "skinny" and b) big people tend to hang out with people who accept them--meaning, when you're no longer "big" they don't like the way you look as much ;) Anyway, congrats on your loss...and enjoy yourself.

Wow, sounds like you are going through the exact same experiences as K8yk...people and their comments..do they really hear what they are saying? Hooray for you and your forty pound loss! TOWANDA!!!
