I was at an SCA event today and saw, litterally, hundreds of friends who have known me for years. Not one noticed I had lost weight. LOL. I guess when you're this big, 37 pounds really isn't that much. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to lose a few more 37s. :-)

Jo, perhaps they noticed but were afraid it was due to illness or something and so didn't want to say anything! But you will be losing a few more 37's I am quite sure! Have a great Sunday!

Eh, some people notice, some don't. Some say something about it, others keep it to themselves. :P 37 lbs is a Big accomplishment! It's takes months of willpower, and endurance to do that. And your an amazing woman for making this journey. It's not always easy, but it's worth it! I didn't get any comments at seafood festival, except from my family who all know I've been losing weight. And I saw dozens of people I've known for a loooong time. Lots of high school friends. Then again, at this point I'm the same weight I was my senior year of high school. lol So maybe I just didn't look any different to them. :P And woot woot! for losing more 37's!! :D

Thanks to you both. People DID keep commenting on how great and so much more healthy I looked. The people who did comment kept saying how much better my color was. They just didn't notice the weight. LOL. That's OK. obviously they noticed SOMETHING was different. I figure by January the weight difference will be more obvious. Jada, thank goodness for this site. We have built in buddies to cheer us on and give us kudos. I'm not sure what I would do without it.

Amen to that!! You know, since people DID comment on you looking good in general, they noticed the weight. But like ctlss said, they may not have wanted to say the wrong thing. I have been on both the giving & receiving ends of that, & it is SUPER awkward. You are doing FANTASTIC darling!!! :)

Like kstub said, they probably were being careful not to say something awkward like "Whoa, you've lost a buttload of weight!" And losing 37 lbs is a great achievement no matter where you're starting. You should be proud of yourself. :)
