I'm feeling kinda down. I am going on a cruise in less than 2 weeks to the bahammas--September 8th-12th. I am going with my boyfriend and 2 of my girlfriends and their boyfriends--Savannah and Lindsey. I am already dreading the bathing suits...UGH! Savannah is a really cute size...not exactly skinny but definitely not fat...maybe a size 8. And Lindsey she weighs the same as I do--BUT i look SO much bigger because she USED to be skinny and just gained weight...I used to be morbidly obese and lost 150 pounds so my body is a train wreck!!! My skin sags...her fat is TIGHT and looks better than my fat. I need a tummy tuck so bad... I don't even really want to go on the cruise now because I feel so uncomfortable with my own body. I guess Ill just wear a cover up till right before I get in the water...

It's hard not to compare ourselves to others. Nearly every woman dislikes her body in a bathing suit, even the ones who to you seem to look perfect. There is probably some woman thinking you look great and wishing her body would be more like yours. I look back at 170lb me when I still thought I was fat. I'm 25lbs heavier now, and I looked great. Wish I would have appreciated it.

and if you're uncomfortable with your tummy in a two-piece, get a tankini or one-piece. they can still be sexy with low-V necks or open backs.

I totally understand about "tight fat" but Remember what a two piece would have looked like 150lbs ago??? Use that to remember how far you have come!! I agree about feeling uncomfortable and finding a suit that feels good, you'll have that confidence that you've had before!!! And duh ENJOY the cruise!!!! It will be a blast!!

You look better than I do! Congrats on your weight loss and keeping it off. Get a one piece, they are cute too, and if you feel comfortable you will have more fun! they have cute cover ups too! You have done an amazing job!!! Don't forget that :) Have a great time on your cruise.
