Rainy and 58 degrees this morning in NC and my neck is killing me. Hated to do it but had to pop some Aleve or I knew I'd not be able to function today. It's a bitch to get old but sure does beat the alternative.
My weight is still holding, which is a miracle since DH is home and I've eaten the same dinner as him 2 nights in a row. Going to get busy and plan, prep and shop for this week's meals. I don't enjoy this because I like to be spontaneous at meal time - but look at where that has gotten me! Sticking with a routine is a small price to pay for losing weight.

Buffy, if you like to be spontaneous, then you're probably similar to my DH. He can take just about anything in the 'frig and turn it into something yummy! How I envy that. If I tried that, it would be a disaster and taste like someone just threw oddball things together. I'd bet you could still be spontaneous, if you just stocked your 'frig with multiple legal items and created to your heart's content at dinnertime. Happy shopping.

Sandy - Am not going back to the store in this cold rain so I will take your advice. Am thawing a bunch of odds and ends from the freezer right now. Who knows what dinner will be?
