She had this romantic idea of what being a carer is like and was claiming to be experienced, with DBS and to have a friend who she could share the job with. A minute into the interview it was clear she was pushing the job for her friend and afterwards she rang back to say sorry they couldn't do it. So what was at play? Opportunists trying to make a buck thinking it is easy to find and place carers. Misrepresenting theur intentions and then realising they can't really fill the job. That the fantasy is easier than reality...
I had loads of non-English apply but they all refused to do an interview. You know why? Because they do not speak the language and communicate via Google translate! Lol?

basically was sharing an experience with an applicant who is English but had nothing to do with the care sector. Never mind. It is an unsolvable problem.
