Whoops!
My daily goal is 1250 calories, but I allow myself about 250 slack in either direction.
This evening after dinner I realized that my calorie count for the day was way too low, and decided it would be a good night for a treat. I melted bittersweet chocolate with heavy cream in the microwave, stirred it together, then used that as a dip for banana slices.
Total for the day: 1249 calories. Perfect!
A minute after I finished eating it I remembered the beer I had during a meeting at work this afternoon. Whoops! Oh well. I'm still within bounds, but I wouldn't have had the chocolate if I'd remembered the beer first.
