fell off the wagon for a little while, but hopefully everything is back on track. I got a really bad burn from some boiling water at work and it is still an open wound on my ankle preventing me from swimming, shorts, jogging, and sunning. -.- HOWEVER! today I ate very healthfully and I am going to continue monitoring myself. i also did a little experiment with milk. i went a little over 2 weeks with no milk or cheese from cows. then the other day I pretty much had cheese with almost every meal excluding breakfast. Apparently, i'm sensitive to it more so than i had originally thought. it's been 2 days and i'm still 3 lbs heavier. i think milk may be one of those things that i end up cutting out for good. not to mention the digestive upset.

Milk's tricky, since we're the only animals that drink milk into adulthood, and drink another animal's milk. I've started using Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk -- it has 50% more calcium than milk, and only 30 calories in 8 oz. It has a little fat, but none of it is saturated. It's funny how even now, we're learning about what our bodies can tolerate! :-)
