Went off woe today BUT it was planned. We donated blood today and carbs/sugar are good after donating. Still didn't help my son (first timer) from almost passing out at Publix. Yes, the ambulance had to be called, he lost sight for a few minutes and his eyes rolled back in his head. I knew we should have headed straight home but he wanted chicken wings from there. Publix managers are awesome btw. I had 2 items in my cart (flour and the chicken), and the manager paid for them out of his own pockets so I wouldn't have to come back. He said to just take care of my son and don't worry about coming back today. I had asked him to put them back for me. A nice nurse stopped to help (I think he said Alex) and a super nice random guy helped my kid. Scary experience but thankfully we knew it was from the donating and NOT sickness (and could reassure everyone there) Rough day. James is okay now and I am still fine. Hubby couldn't come because he had a phone interview but they said he could stop by (He's O-neg) all others require appointments.
