That’s terrific. Love pecan pie. I peeled and sliced 7 apples to make apple pie and I thought I had it tough. Thats’s a lot of pecans.

If you’ve been in ketosis for a while you may be pleasantly surprised to be back in keto in only a day! So don’t go back for seconds 😆 pecan pie is addictive!

Kenna- he bought and cracked them for me so I wanted to surprise him for his hard work. Oh my, I can’t even think of homemade apple pie! One og my favorites! ❤️

delewis— Apple pie, any pie is easy if you take a little help from the store and buy the crust. Truly, I cannot make it any better than that. I use a Marie Callender’s deep dish Or Pillsbury which comes two crusts in a pkg. easy. There are many different apples that can be used. The ones I used you can’t buy in a store. I go up to the base of the mountains where there are hundreds of orchards.and buy them. Out of season I just use what the store has.. I tried to post a pic of the pie but FS just won’t let me. I’m stuck in some sort of FS other world version of the program.. but the url for the recipe I use is King Arthur flour.com/recipes/Apple-pie-recipe or better yet just GOOGLE apple pie King Arthur flour and it will come up.  

I guess it's good I don't know how to make pecan pie- because I love it! Sounds awesome! Sounds like you have it under control- knowing how to eat in moderation! 

DP— nobody is born knowing how to do anything whether it is make pie, ride a bike, sew or eat in a healthy manner but we can learn and pie is easy if you take a little help from the store and buy one of the several pre made crusts. They are just as good as I could do, maybe better. Buy the already shelled pecans and give it a whirl. It’s not rocket science.

Princess- it’s the easiest pie to make! So very sweet though! 

Moopie- I will have a full house this year. So frozen pies will be on the table 😉 keto pumpkin pie and keto pecan bars will be my homemade fare. I thought of a cake, as it’s my parents wedding anniversary, but I just cannot have frosting in the house. I’m a junkie 😂 I am lucky when it comes to that hubby of mine, he’s the best 💕
