Ok,
So the vacation was a very tough trial for me. Got through 5 of the 6 six days relatively well. The hotel graciously sent a refridge to the room. I went to the grocery store and was happy to see that even though everything was in French, I could figure out the carb content. I bought some salad, sliced cheese and sliced turkey. Rolled them in the morning and evening. Last night we went out for dinner and I knoshed on the french fries and ate the bottom bun of the hamberger I ordered. Okay so, next time I order it bunless. Lesson learned.
I think I'm happy that I at least got to the gym and pool everyday. Not a bad trip, but happy to be back in a safer routine. Work lunch is easy to handle, gym after work and home to a low carb friendly kitchen.
