Sept. 1st, new month so I'm recording my current stats:
Weight: 154 (darn weekend weight gain!)
Waist: 33.5"
Hip: 41"
Thigh: 24"
Body fat: 40.3%
BMI: 27.7
Weeeeel, the body fat is actually in the obese range - I'm skinny/fat! Okay, not skinny but just overweight. Funny, in my Exercise Physiology class we're reading a study of college students (athletes & non-athletes) to see if the much bally-hoo'ed BMI is a good predictor of body fat. The study says NO, and so do my stats! YIKES, I've got to get that body fat DOWN! I just signed up for the Hot Chocolate 5K run instead of the 15K, mostly because I spent way too much money at Target yesterday. Yeah, maybe I have a problem with self-control? My hubby wants to have chicken-fried steak for lunch. I think I'll have a turkey wrap w/carrots, LOL! Anyway, time to go for a run.
