i know crash diets are bad, but i figured out that if it's only short term it isn't really going to do any damage..

if i eat 1000 calories a day, i can lose 2.9 pounds in 15 days (when i go to vegas).. in addition, IF i can get myself to do an additional 466 calories worth of activity, THEN i can lose 2 more pounds, which would put me at 108.6... the weight i was at my last photoshoot..

i'm thinking i'm going to try it

I'm in the same boat...except I live in vegas (image is everything). I also am doing 1000cal per day in hopes it doesnt cause damage OR put double the weight back on. It's very hard but so far I'm losing slowly...not so much energy tho =( Hope you have GREAT success!

I think the trick is to make sure you are still maintaining the proper nutrient intake. Be sure to take a good multivitamin, and be sure that you spend your 1000kcal well! Eat nutrient dense food. If your going to limit yourself in calories make sure they aren't empty. Also, take an Omega fat supplement. They will help your body metabolize fat instead of muscle.
