Yesterday's OMAD was a simple soup and salad. My friend did not want to split a cookie. Since I was full, I just skipped it. A very low calorie day, but I did not want to force myself to eat something just to pump it up.

I went home and did 26 mins of yoga on the FitOn app. I did very bad yoga. Damn, I am inflexible and super tight. It sure did feel great. Then, I just read and enjoyed the silence.

Tonight E's friends are coming over for Clix. I am picking up meatball subs again for everyone. I am torn because I really want one but I shouldn't have the red sauce. I am thinking of having it w/o red sauce. I got to think some more about it.

Tomorrow, my friend Bill and I are going for a hike and afterwards we are getting French Dip Deluxe sandwiches.

When I get home, e and I are going to see the new Quentin movie, and maybe Ice cream. It is my Spike day! :-)

Thankful:
Bill has recently lost 60ish lbs. He is more active now then anytime in his life. In his 20's, when he used to eat well and work out all the time, it was never cardio or walking. Only weights. I am so thankful we are adding hikes to our monthly excursions.

Goal for day:
I already exercised. I need to do my fit board on lunch. Play some video games and read while the boys play. Joyous.

Positive Thoughts:
E lost a total of 8 lbs as of this morning. I am up to 42 lbs lost overall and 32 lbs lost since 4/1. I am doing it. We are doing it together!

@Danana I feel your pain. I live in RI, the state with the highest % of Italian Americans (19%) by state population. Plus, E is Italian. Italian food is a staple here. @gz I got diagnosed when I was thinner, a lot thinner. I was 36 and it was a shock to me. 6 months later I got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. What a year!

@Kenna Morton Good advice. I do all that, plus if I eat, I don't even bend over to pick anything up. I don't lay down for 3 hours minimum after eating. E and I always play a game with dinner to eat slower. I won't even exercise within the 3 hour window unless it is a simple walk. I don't want any more issues/scar tissue with my esophagus. Esophageal cancer freaks me out too.

@ww44 as a kid, my favorite# was 6. But when I turned 6, I made the very difficult decision to change my favorite number to 4, & I stuck with it. It's your favorite number too?

omad = one meal a day

@clairsheart. OMAD is one meal a day. You are supposed to fast for 23 hours, eat within the hour and then fast another 23. I am not strict with the time frame. Wed, my OMAD was dinner. Thur my OMAD was lunch,. And Fri my OMAD was dinner. I only drink water between my meals. Your are also allowed unsweetened black coffee, or unsweetened black tea, or sparkling water during your fast
