Yes! It's happened to me! I think most of us, if not all of us, can identify with what you are going through. Sometimes, when the cravings are strong enough, you just have to ride it out and hope for the best. But once I get a binge out of my system, I try to focus on the aweful feelings afterward and engrave them on my memory in hopes that I won't be so easily swayed when the next craving hits. Plus, those kinds of binges are usually triggered by something emotional, even if it's just apathy at the slow progress of our diets. Identifying your triggers can help you ward off another attack in the future. But most of all, don't beat yourself up. Just clear away the empty wrappers, plan your menu for tomorrow and move on. Every day is a new chance to do better. You can do it!
