Just starting to get into this, and love being able to record exactly what I eat for the most part. I have tried to keep food/exercise journals such as this in the past, and it hasn't worked...so I decided to give this a shot.
It's a beautiful day outside and I'm looking forward to going out for a run.
I would say the biggest obstacle I have in dieting is trying to eat small amounts throughout the day and not waiting too long to eat. I used to be able to go long periods--almost all day without eating which was handy as I could just ignore hunger, but now I can't. In college I developed GI trouble in what my doctors and I assume is and ulcer, I have been on medication and had an endoscopy done. I got my stomach to heal for a while and had little trouble with nausia and stomach aches after eating but now they are creeping back. And now I generally have a more sensitive stomach than I have ever had, and if I ignore hunger too long I feel really sick to my stomach. Its also frustrating because I can't always eat what I would like. I love spicy food and my favorite diet seasoning is salsa, but I have to watch when and how much I eat of it now. The other thing I used to do is use coffee to curb my appetite with caffeine, but now have to watch my caffeine intake much more closely. Lame. But such is life. Guess I just gotta go with it....it's probably all around healthier in the end right?
