Walked 17 miles today.

Learned that i need to take a snack with me if I take that route again. Mile 12/4 hours is too long to go without eating. Felt dizzy and nauseated by the time I got to the restaurant.

Congrats on 17 mi! That is amazing! I did 4 the other day and was so sore in my thighs and butt, I could hardly walk! CONGRATS AGAIN!

Thanks. It is definitely a matter of training up. Each week I walk a bit more. Each week I feel like a zombie by the time I get home, but no worse than the week before. Next time is 20 miles.
