Also, settling for a pound a week is not really "settling". A real pound of loss per week is fast. Finally--- it is misleading to think of loss rates in terms of pounds per week for several reasons. (1) we are losing a proportion of the total, and as the total diminishes, a constant proportional loss implies a diminishing pound rate as our weight drops (2) as we lose fat the proportion of our weight that is available to lose diminishes (3) It might be even more productive to think in terms of rates of pounds / remaining pounds to lose to reach goal. If we calculated that way-- you would be jazzed because this would be one of your biggest advances relative to remaining pounds. ok-- done geeking out.
