There's a weight loss page I follow on facebook, Sara Use it 2 lose it. Awesome page :) Anyways something she said really hit home "every moment I am blessed with the gift of ** choice ** and my choices.. MY choices determine the direction of MY life."
How true is that? My weight gain has been because of bad food choices over the years. And to lose this weight I have to really be aware of the choices I make everyday. I am the only person who can either hold me back from success or rock on and get in shape :)
I just need to take this journey day by day and in the end all the right decisions will add up.

I'm a member of a group on Facebook - called 30 days -- Fall Back Into Working out. It helps to hear what everyone else is doing. You can also "like" Beachbody, Turbo Jam, and Tony Horton, P90x - there are some fabulous inspirational sayings and photos out there on Facebook. One which I have posted next to my computer at work: "Your Desire to Change Must Be Greater Than Your Desire To Stay The Same." How simple that is, but also how true. What I've found that is working for me - Higher protein (like 10 g per meal), not a ton of carbs (I strive for no more than 300 carbs per meal) - I don't eat alot of bread. Fill up on fruit and veggies - they will hold you longer. Apple bread sounds divine! Include your water intake. Write down what exercise you do - and yes, absolutely yet, housework and desk work and driving count! :) Pls feel free to make suggestions on my journal to. :)

Thanks! I really need to fine tune my eating. I probably don't get enough protein and to much carbs. It helps to see what others have tried and if it has worked I'll give it a shot too.

That's a great outlook, seaside. Today contains the decisions and choices which are the building blocks of tomorrow.
