I think I might cry! I started out on FitDay on 4/1. I tried the calorie restrictive no meat diet for oh...about three days. I got on Atkins 9 days ago. The way I eat has changed! This isnt a diet for me its a new way to live. That and I've lost 7 lbs. I have been only losing .2 lbs a day for the past four days except today I gained .2 lbs. On top of my frustration I decided to do my measurements. I was shocked when I went back to FitDay, entered in my inches and compared them to when I first decided to start losing wieght. I've lost 5.5 inches!! It came off my chest and arms but mainly my hips and thighs.

I did more research yesterday and found that the reason I'm stalling is because I'm not eating enough. Breakfast is pretty decent but lunch and dinner flop. With the weight loss and now the inches gone, I need to buckle down and keep better track.

I joined a few groups:


a crunch for every calorie eaten
push ups every day
30 minutes of walking every day

As soon as the pool opens (in two weeks), I'm going to start replacing one day of walking for one day of swimming. I want that swimmers body I had back in high school. I'm only 3.4 lbs away from my milestone goal and 8.4 lbs away from my ultimate goal.
