Grateful/ thankful for:
Music and how it can motivate or calm one down
Good movie on TV last night
Laughter shared with some friends
Patience that was challenged yesterday
Cool mornings
Full and mystical moons
My family
The few good friends I have
Food in my fridge and the creativity to create meals
My apartment altho it needs a good clean
My freedom
Being Canadian
Long weekends

Well yesterday once I finally got my butt in gear I wandered over to the grocery store. Holy crappers it was busy, betwen the good sale and students returning to college and parents getting loaded up for a new school year it was a zoo! However I was able to handle it and did pretty good staying within my budget. Only $3 over. Was able to get some good food again and avoided the temptations of all the junk food that was on sale.
Once I had been there for almost an hour I had to get out, the nervous I am going to have attack was about to rear it's ugly head. Once outside it disapated quickly. I did do a good deed by giving my cart that I paid for to a young lady and simply asked her to pave it forward.
After I came home, but got rather ansy so headed back out! Back over to the mall and strolled around the stores before I knew it I had been gone over 2 hours. Picked up a few items that I needed and walked back home.
The rest of the evening was relaxing with friends of my roomates. We all picked on eachother and I felt the stress that I had been burying slip away! Laughter truly is great medicine.
So although not a whole lot got done, it was a good day!
Today the focus is on cleaning the apartment and staying cool there is a humidex warning out! Lovely!!!
