If I lose any weight this week... if I even manage to stay at the same weight it will be a miracle. I had a very stressful week, not helped by sleep deprivation and quick, mindless food blunders.

My cousins have been visiting this past week and I've been doing a lot of babysitting. While they were here, my aunt and uncle, who usually eat very healthy, sensible meals, switched to more kid-friendly foods meaning high-carb, high-sodium, sugary, highly processed crap. I've been watching four kids ranging from 5 months to 14 years all week. Because my aunt and uncle work, for several days I was nannying from early in the morning until late at night. And nannies don't get lunch breaks.

I'm exhausted. I've had to do a lot of therapeutic shopping this weekend to recover. Well, good night. I have an early start tomorrow. I'll check the week's damage tomorrow morning.

Call it a wash and move on. All you can do is accept it for what it is and prepare yourself for next time now that you know they are catering to the children. It's unfortunate, but that's how it usually goes. Hope your stress has lifted and you are back on your plan!
