OK - I did a stupid thing. I tucked an "emergency supply" of cocoa almonds in my drawer at work today. Apparently I had emergencies all day long.
Tomorrow morning those bad boys are getting locked in the truck of my car.

Shame on you! Just tell me where to find them. :) DW loves those things too. Maybe it will be like carrying a pack of cigarettes around, after you quit smoking. If you know they're there if you need them, you won't panic, and maybe never touch them. You can only hope, right?

LOL Buffy, I can soooo relate to having something like that around..mine is those little chocolate kisses..haven't bought any in for ages..wouldn't do me any good to lock them away..I'd break the lock if need be to get at them...LOL..Hope you have a better and less

Buffy I can relate to having something around the house similar to almonds... mine use to be cheese-its, I would start a box and never stop, now they are NEVER allowed in the house :)

I think no more emergency supplies for you Buffy!! You know they are going to find their way out of your trunk....they are always naughty like that, so best to leave them on the shop shelf - where all naughty foods should be!

Ok...so now that's over & the lesson is learned. However, I do think everybody does need an "emergency stash", especially for at work (otherwise that drawer is just too empty), I have oatmeal in my drawer now. I used to have nuts too, but my story is way to much like yours & they had to go!
