Wanted to ask the group......I have had extremely high blood pressure this past week.....so I haven't exercised....been abit scared....I was wanting to know can u still exercise with very high blood pressure.....for future reference....I have now been put on tablets..... gonna try this weekend to do some walking

Find out what's safe from your Dr, less stress and salt. Exercise usually helps with stress

been on bloodpressure meds since the age of 21, your doc will probably monitor you this week to see if your meds work, then go for it, as exercise is very good in lowering bloodpressure...just let doc first be happy with the meds...

yep definitely let doc give u go ahead but u can walk normal pace 20min don't over do it water is your best friend

Ye, Rather speak with your doctor what is safe. Exercise does strange things to your body, specially with blood pressure , sugar levels etc

thanks guys for the helpful info......not happy as i have now picked up flu.....gggrrrrr...gonna try a small routine tomorrow as i have dosed myself before it get any worse.......

try not to do to much exercise while you are sick rather take it easy for a few days
