Tassos67, yes, I've been trying to eat 2500 calories partly because I'm having some absorption issues (because of the shortened bowel) and not getting the benefit of all those calories. The fat sure makes me feel more satisfied!
I realize though that eating a lot of fat like I do is not necessarily going to help me gain weight... it's carbohydrates that make you gain weight, not fat. But, as a cancer survivor, I have to keep my sugars/carbs really low. But, the total calories have to come from somewhere, so I use lots of the good fats -- butter, coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil. I try to get adequate protein too because I want to gain *muscle*, not just "weight"!😁
