Friday. Payday. Skiff of snow on the ground and a brisk 25 degrees. Busy day ahead of me with a three-day weekend EXCEPT I will be flying to Boise on Monday for a conference. That is work time. Oh well. Such is life.

Calorie counting has been going well so far. Need to drink more water. Calories have been rather low. May need to increase them. I wish thanksgiving wasn't just around the corner. Imagine I will treat it like an indulgence day. I just hate to go through that. For me food pretty much equals excess!

I'm grateful this morning for ...

Dry wood that catches quickly in the stove.
Advil for achy joints.
Friday with the hope of sleeping in tomorrow.
Coffee perking on the stove.
Working on facing reality instead of living in denial.

Take care. Indeed I am working on self kindness and being grateful. I've been out of practice with both for far too long. I'm just praying my body will let go of these pounds relatively quickly. I'd love to arrive at my 55th birthday near goal!

Morning Carol..so glad your back..I'm sure you eill make it..but you really have to want it..I really wanted it and lost before I found FS now I really want it again....I just need to apply my no how again..Have a great day...:O)

Hi Carol!! Increasing your calories along with your exercise would be a good idea. You will get back at it and get your own program going again. You are exercising and that's a great start. We can do this. I'm not good at water either. Does it really make a big difference? You hear that it does but I have never noticed that with me. If it really does than I guess I would give it another try. Hope you have a great Friday. It is pretty cool here this morning on the patio but not as cool as that.
