I am a carb-o-holic! I love bread, sweets, pasta....you name it! But I'm realizing it doesn't like me. Diagnosed with Crohns a few years ago and some other medical issues it's time for a change. My brother told me about the Paleo lifestyle so I am setting my sights on a healthier me but following those changes.
On 2/25/2014 I weighed in at 270. I made DRASTIC changes immediately. It wasn't as hard as I expected...but it wasn't a piece of cake, either. On 3/4/2014 I weighed in at 260. I was ecstatic!! I heard about fatsecret on 3/5/2014 and here I am! I'm ready and determined to have a healthier ME!(I will say 270 was not my highest weight. In 2011,306 was my highest weight. However, an eating lifestyle change was not the result of weight loss. Stress and a divorce contributed to that loss. I actually lost a total of 290lbs during that time if you count him!) LOL

Im 48, my only child is getting married in May 2014 and I know within a few years I will have grandbabies. I refuse to be unhealthy and unable to care for and play with those babies. So I'm making changes.
