I started to go LCHF (Low Carb High Fat) on September 2011. At that time my health had so much deteriorated that I was fat (82Kg), becoming T2 diabetic, had bowel problems, skin rash problems and lacked anything resembling stamina or physical endurance. Which for an ex airborne soldier was the most depressing issue.

Tom Naughton "Fat Head" movie and Gary Taubes "Good Calories bad calories" book saved my life. A year later I already shed 14Kg, my stamina was back, I could hike hours carrying a heavy pack and most of my other health troubles vanished. My blood pressure is also down and my lipids panel is a cardiologist wet dream. I'm fitter today than I used to be when I was 35 and my goal is to shed the last 8Kg of blubber and replace them with the 8Kg of hard muscle that melted away during the last 10 years.

First goal 65Kg - Done 23.11.2012
Second goal 64Kg - Done 11.12.2012
Third goal 63Kg - Done 26.12.2012
Fourth goal 62kg - Done 19.01.2013
Fifth goal 60Kg - Done 14.02.2013

27 March 2013: Weight loss is no longer of any interest to me. I reached my weight goals but I can't say I'm 100% satisfied with the results. From now I'll focus o getting my percentages of body fat and muscles from the current 17/40 to the 15/42 range.

04.05.2013 - BF down to 16.27% and Muscles up to 40.5% (JP 3 points method)

20.07.2013 - BF down to 14.58% but muscles remains at 40.5% (JP 3 points method). Time to focus on getting more muscles.

29.08.2013 - BF down to 14.1% muscles gained and are at 41.1% (JP 3 points method).
