Feeling good, eating well. Buddies, I apologize for being scarce. Been wrapped up in a huge project. Then we took some donated supplies to a collection point for tornado victims. We drove down one of the open highways to survey the damage in person. I've been reluctant to be a gawker, but this was a major thoroughfare and traffic was allowed. I was shocked. I've seen tornado damage before, but this was apocalyptic. About a half-mile wide path on either side of the highway where a neighborhood had been, nothing but splinters and rubble. National guardsmen on the side roads. Food trucks handing out meals to the victims. I'm not a crybaby, but I felt like weeping. We both put our names on a volunteer list after we got home. This is gonna take years of work to repair.
