My doctor is always telling me to eat mostly "plants". I do feel good when I eat that way but like bread/cereal and milk too much to give up completely! I probably do less than 25% meat. Nice to see you back (I've been gone too!)

Hahaha..yes his name was Murphy and I'm catching up to him with the remakes..so far I've had had 6 totals done, more than half of me now is bionic 😎

Thanks gsn, it's akways great to check in with my FS Family...Fritzy, kinda scale yourself back on the breads etc.and go the other way more like you said you feel the difference and you'll adapt easliy in time and you will not only feel it but see it too. Rosio, your right..l feel and look better with energy to boot.

Slow going! I didn’t understand when other ladies would mention the difficulty in losing weight because of being in menopause. I’ve been running and watching what I ate. Finally, I lost 5 lbs. 15 more to go for my goal. 👏👏👏😁 Yay, me! #56

@Thomp27, everyone experiences menopause differently, but slow loss and month-long plateaus are common enough that we're warned about them. I also think that some women have difficulty changing their approach to health when it becomes necessary. (A thin-and-gorgeous friend of mine refused to wear her reading glasses because she didn't want the sales team she managed to know her true age. I think she's ages badly because of her fretting about aging badly. She's been fretting about aging since she was 32!)

Wannab, I'm back at around 90%..changing my eating habits had alot to do with the faster recovery.
P.s. Payday's and the famous double scoop of chocolate chip icecream on a waffle cone is on the table..hahaha😜
